What does it mean to be a 'Professional Enterprise'? What does a Professional Enterprise Award commemorate and recognise?

To AMA, a 'Professional Enterprise' is an enterprise that is competitive in its own market segment, with comprehensive management systems in the five (5) key areas of: Strategy & Leadership, Marketing Management, Human Resource Development, Operations & Execution Capabilities, and Financial Management. It consists of 3 levels of specialty:

• The Professional Enterprise Award – CERTIFIED (for 2007 only). It communicates the value of the organisations' commitment in Goal Setting, as well as their investment in business systems and processes. 

• The Professional Enterprise Award – PRESTIGE. It signifies the organisations' superior business performance as a result of their Enterprise Professionalism incorporating Goal-Setting as well as System & Process Integrity. 

• The Professional Enterprise Award - SIGNIFICANCE. It communicates the value of the organisation's significance for it's market segment and industry as a whole.

Launch of PE Award 2007 in Singapore Management University Auditorium

 

On 19 May 2007, Mr Richard Toh PK, AMA's President addressed 250 Guests in the PE Award 2007 Launch Ceremony. Mr Kenny Yap, Chairman of SGX-Listed Qian Hu Corporation Ltd was the Guest Speaker on: “Turning a small enterprise into a Professional Global Player”
