

What does it mean to be a 'Professional Enterprise'? What does a Professional Enterprise Award commemorate and recognise?
To AMA, a 'Professional Enterprise' is an enterprise that is competitive in its own market segment, with comprehensive management systems in the five (5) key areas of: Strategy & Leadership, Marketing Management, Human Resource Development, Operations & Execution Capabilities, and Financial Management. It consists of 3 levels of specialty:
The Professional Enterprise Award – CERTIFIED (for 2007 only). It communicates the value of the organisations' commitment in Goal Setting, as well as their investment in business systems and processes.
The Professional Enterprise Award – PRESTIGE. It signifies the organisations' superior business performance as a result of their Enterprise Professionalism incorporating Goal-Setting as well as System & Process Integrity.
The Professional Enterprise Award - SIGNIFICANCE. It communicates the value of the organisation's significance for it's market segment and industry as a whole.
